Caroline is dedicated to creating educational programs in the field of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and advancing the science of medical intuition. She established CMED, her own educational institute, in 2003, which offers two programs running three courses per year, on Sacred Contracts and Mysticism. Additionally, Caroline maintains a rigorous workshop and lecture schedule internationally and continues a consultation practice with physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health practitioners, as a medical intuitive.

Caroline began her professional career as a journalist in 1974. After completing her Master's degree, Caroline co-founded Stillpoint Publishing in 1983 in Walpole, New Hampshire. From 1983 - 1990, Caroline worked as head of the editorial department for her publishing company that produced an average of ten books per year in the field of human consciousness and holistic health.

Simultaneously Caroline began her career as a medical intuitive. In 1984, Caroline met C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard trained neurosurgeon, who had an interest in the science of medical intuition. They began a colleagueship that continues to this day. During their early years together, Norm helped Caroline to develop her skills by having her conduct health readings on his patients. From that data, Caroline is able to profile the physical/psychological/emotional/and family history of the patient.

Through this research, Caroline developed the field of Energy Anatomy, a science that partners specific emotional/ psychological/ physical/spiritual stress patterns with the specific diseases that they create or influence. This research proved so accurate that it became the subject matter of a book co-written by Caroline and Norm: THE CREATION OF HEALTH. What does the Healing Touch Program Teach?

In 1988 the Center for Spiritual Development was founded as a non-profit organization. Its purpose was to provide spiritual development classes and sessions that included the use of Reiki therapy, past life regression therapy, guided meditation and neurolinguistic programming. In 1989, Reiki training was added to the curriculum and in 1991 our name was changed to The Center for Reiki Training, as Reiki became our only focus.

Subtle Touch is the name of a body psychotherapy method based on the Jungian theory and a series of bodywork techniques developed by Pethö Sandor. The first Subtle Touch technique created by Sandor in 1947 in Europe was named Calatonia. It consists in a series of nine touches to the feet, soles of the feet, heels, and calves. Usually performed in about 25 - 30 minutes, Calatonia is the most popular of the Subtle Touch techniques. Sandor said that Calatonia "cleansed" the body and psyche, providing to the therapist an overall insight about the patient's conditions. The Subtle Touch method has been used in Brazil since 1950.

The American College of Orgonomy (A.C.O.), located near Princeton, New Jersey, is a nonprofit education and scientific organization devoted to setting and maintaining standards for work in the field of orgonomy.
