Core Energetics

Core Energetics South

Description:

Core Energetics is the bridge between psychology and spirituality. Core Energetics is world renowned as the first western psychotherapeutic approach to incorporate the spiritual aspect of being with modern psychology and body psychotherapy, making Core Energetics a truly holistic and integrative therapy.

Core Energetics is a process to enhance life and healing and is based on a powerful evolutionary therapeutic approach that seeks the integration of all aspects of our humanity - emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual. This evolutionary process is built on the foundation of the work of Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Wilhelm Reich, and human development theory, the study of new physics, spirituality, and ancient charka and human energy theory.

Core Energetics is based on a deep understanding of the ways in which energy and consciousness work together in the transformative process of healing. This evolutionary process of healing encompasses knowing and revealing your whole self- your beauty, your defenses, and your dark shadow. This transformation is achieved gradually by bringing consciousness and movement to the core's overlaying defensive structures.

The result is the release of a vast amount of energy, which can then be used in the service of mental, physical and spiritual health. This creates vitality, greater life fulfillment, joy and pleasure.

Certified practitioners of Core Energetics must go through their own deep therapeutic process as well as to complete a rigorous 4 year post graduate training program.

Core Energetics South's director, Pamela L. Chubbuck Ph.D., worked personally with John C. Pierrakos, MD, founder of Core Energetics, for over 30 years.

Core Energetics

Description:

Core Energetics is a process for life and healing based on a powerful evolutionary therapeutic approach that seeks the integration of all aspects of our humanity-the emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual. This process is built on the foundation of the work of Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, and Wilhelm Reich, as well as the foundations of human development and object relations theories. As part of this gestalt, the Core Energetic approach also incorporates the spiritual aspect of being reflected in the Pathwork transmissions of Eva Pierrakos.

Core Energetics is based on a deep understanding of the ways in which energy and consciousness work together in the transformative process of healing. The vision of the work is to invite a deeper experience and identification with one's core energy and feelings, releasing the individual to create his or her life from this personal yet universal center. This is achieved gradually by bringing consciousness, movement and, ultimately, transformation to the core's overlaying defensive structures. The result is the release of a vast amount of energy, creating vitality, greater life fulfillment, joy and pleasure.
