The INTERNATIONAL ALCHEMY GUILD (IAG) is a group of alchemists from around the world who come together to exchange views, news, and research in the Hermetic arts and all forms of practical and spiritual alchemy. The modern Guild was formed by a confederation of practicing alchemists who trace their lineage back to Wilhelm von Rosenberg. Von Rosenberg founded the original "Alchymie Cech" (or Alchimie Gilde") in 1576 in a small town midway between Prague and Vienna. The last building used by the Guild from that era still stands and is shown at right.
