A friend forwarded to me an alarmist-sounding letter about the Codex Alimentarius. I've heard about this as a looming threat, but hadn't read anything about it. Until now. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published a draft guidance document, Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products and their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration.

To heal a wound, turn up the voltage is a rather interesting report of scientists using electric signals to heal wounds. They seem to be proud they've identified this isn't homeopathy. But, really, this is rather similar to energy healing in its many form including homeopathy.

Consider the discussion in Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis. Dr. Oschman in that book identifies Energy Healing as a manifestation of electrical currents in the body, and that some people have learned to direct energy currents out their hands or in other ways.

A Sixth Sense for a Wired World discusses someone who is experimenting with implanting magnets in their fingers. The purpose is so they can detect electricity and magnetic fields.

I find this a little funny - because I've discovered an innate ability to directly sense electricity, no implanted magnets required.

The ability came as an extension of the high sense perception I use as a healer. Just as I scan a human body for energetic blockages etc, so can I scan wiring looking for which wire is carrying current.

My first experience of this was on a drive across the Mojave Desert. Along the highway there's a power line that's probably one of the main links feeding power to the Los Angeles area. As I drove under the power line I felt a very distinct and palpable presence pass above me. The power line.
